Gender Queer: A Memoir by Maia Kobabe

emotional inspiring reflective medium-paced

4.75

I felt so seen as I read this. A lot of the things the author described resonated with me so strongly when it comes to gender. I also felt e told a really compelling story around eir asexuality and relationship to romance throughout eir life. The art style was beautiful, and I found myself drawn into discovering more about eir life through eir storytelling.

The ending is really open ended in a kind of unsatisfying way, which is my only real flag of note.
