Alone With You in the Ether was such a unique read. It’s not your typical romance (and honestly, calling it a romance feels a little limiting). It’s more like two broken people spiraling into each other in the most intense, intellectual, emotionally raw way.

I loved the way Olivie Blake played with structure and perspective. The writing felt almost theatrical at times, experimental but still deeply intimate. Aldo and Regan are both beautifully messy, and watching their connection unfold was like reading a fever dream full of philosophical tangents, trauma, and yearning.

That said, I wouldn’t recommend this to someone looking for a light or swoony love story. It’s slower, more introspective, and really lives in the characters' heads. But if you're into stories that feel like art and leave you thinking, this one might hit the spot.

Weird, moody, and kind of brilliant, just how I like it.
