Enormous writing; like reading poetry, though the story is a bit unsettling and I can't say I cared at all about the characters. I just hated them mostly and I wish there had been more insight into the mother character. But the language is beautiful, the translation is beautiful. It's poetic and philosophical and worth a quick read if you don't mind hating every character while you do.
