What Women Want: Conversations on Desire, Power, Love and Growth by Maxine Mei-Fung Chung

emotional informative reflective tense

2.75

This had a concept I was originally very interested in, but I found that as I read I wasn't being drawn in by the case studies and the writing. I do find myself thinking occasionally about the women in the book. It was a great starting point. I'm not sure what more I would want from the book, it delivered on everything it promises. I just found it to be a little bit surface-level. Something I would recommend to people that aren't already familiar with psychoanalytic theories and want to read more about their effects on women.
