Kiss by Jacqueline Wilson

4.0

This was always one of my favourite Jacqueline Wilson books as a teenager/older child. The characters of Sylvie and Carl are just so real, and even all the side characters just have so much intense personality that you forget this isn't some widely critically acclaimed novel. It deals with so many issues expertly and both made my heart warm and break. Definitely one of her most underrated books.
