It's hard to know what to say about this book. The narrative was very good, it's a Capote book afterall, and the story was enchanting. But, at the same time, it's so hard to read about a crime like this, all the details. I loved that it was very throughout, as I had no prior knowledge of the crime despite having seen a sizable amount of True Crime documentaries. This is a book I know I will be revisiting, because I loved it, but I also know that I wasn't in the right state of mind to read. 4/5
