I almost feel bad eating this as low as I am, because I know it is beloved. And truly, the writing is a stand out, and I will definitely look for other works by Madeline Miller. I just can't get over how much I dislike Achilles. Which isn't the author's fault, she characterizes him well. Patroclus is a great POV and I adored seeing the story through his eyes.
