I’m unsure if it is possible to fully understand and therefore rate this book until I’ve read the third book…. The first 50-60% of the book was extremely, albeit purposefully, confusing, and little likable a little the characters. The second half brought a lot together and was definitely easier to connect to…but left much unresolved and leaves on quite a cliffhanger. Overall, I enjoyed Gideon the Ninth better, but I almost always have a tough time connecting with the second book in a trio as fully as the first or third installments. Will continue with the audio versions for the third book…
