The Secrets of a Moonlit Night by Elisa Braden
3.0
I did not expect this book to be such a fluffy, instalove story.
The cover and blurb belie what’s really inside. I know this was a novella, but it really lacked development. There was a slight bit of character background, a slight bit of setting, but really no relationship development and the ghost story was kind of not needed. I think, had this book been better planned, it could’ve been turned into a full length novel and done a better job with the overall story. Also, I would’ve really liked it if the author leaned into the spooky elements. This was not spooky at all. The writing was good, and there was potential, but I am slightly disappointed with this.
