The Wedding of Antanasia Jessica Packwood and Lucius Valeriu Vladescu by Beth Fantaskey

3.0

So, what happened in this short-story? Well, first Jessi-...Antanasia said she wasn't ready to get married. We’re off to a good start, aren’t we? I always thought that marriage meant ACCEPTANCE. Something was really off when she agreed to wed in the end of Jessica’s guide to dating in the dark side. Yeah, that kinda pissed me off.

Other thing that got on my nerves: she wouldn’t shut about the “next day will be the best day of my live!” There was so much dialogue and narrative that was useless. This short-story was too big of a story and most of it didn’t matter!

But, to be fair, I liked the ritual in itself. It was kind of nice to see the commitment Antanasia was getting into.

Well, putting all of that aside, it’s kind of nice that the author used her blog to ask her fans what they wanted to see during the wedding. Not all of writers have the decency to talk and interact with their readers. Kudos to you, Fantaskey.

If you are willing to get past forty-five pages of moaning, I think you can get a good story out of it.
