This is the third book in the Before the Coffee Gets Cold Series.
I absolutely love this series.
While this series deals with a lot of difficult topics. This series always felt comforting, it made me remember we are all humans going through things. This series made me laugh and cry. This last book definitely made me cry a lot.
I love the unique storytelling of this series. Each book follows the time-traveling café, but each book has several short stories. These stories are connected in the sense that you follow the employees at the café, but each story was it's own and centered on a different character and their reasoning for wanting to either go to the future or the past. While the books are connected, they are all different. I suggest you read them in order, but you do not really need to. Kawaguchi gives enough background details that you would understand the story.
I won't get into specifics about the books, but I highly recommend reading them.
