I completely understand why people love this book. It is a wholesome read. It reminds me of Violet Evergarden, and it's possibly the closest I'll ever get since the light novels are only in Japanese.
This book didn't disappoint me much at all. The only issue I had was Iris running off without Roman, getting separated from him even after he told her that they got to stick together. But putting side that, the rest of the novel was wondering to read. Definitely character driven, and that's all you need.
I enjoyed both perspectives. And I enjoyed the second plot between the gods. That kept me glued to the book as well.
A quick read, which I loved. Can't wait for the next book.
