Gone with the Wind
by Margaret Mitchell
I don't think I have words enough to do justice for this novel. I laughed, I cried, I felt everything with Scarlett. I adore this story, given that the movie is my favourite and I'm happy to say I've finally read it.
Scarlett O'Hara is so human, with her struggles, her thoughts, feelings, desires and detestable attitudes but she feels so very real. For me, she is just as easy to love as she is to be frustrated at - plenty of times I wished I could reach through the pages and shakes her (along with a few other characters too). But in the end, she's Scarlett O'Hara and tomorrow is another day.
