The Lost Metal by Brandon Sanderson
4.0
I'll try to write a little "review" (more like some quick thoughs) because why not.
The Lost Metal was great. You have your usual Wax, Wayne and Marasi novel BUT you also get a barrage of Cosmere information, and expansion, like in no other Cosmere novel before.
In terms of character work I have to remark that this keeps the trend of Wax, Wayne, Marasi, Steris and company getting better and more interesting with every new book.
On top of this you add insane an amount of new and exciting information about the way the Cosmere in general and different groups of people and deities scattered throughout it work and you have a VERY satisfying and entertaining read.
This book enhances not only Mistborn, but the rest of the novels set in the Cosmere. Introducing new mysteries, answering some of the old ones, and opening the gateway for new, even bigger, ideas and events to occur, not only in Scadrial and Roshar, but in the whole system.
The convergence is starting, and it's exciting.
