One False Note by Gordon Korman

Amy and Dan are hot on the trail of the second clue (and I'm hoping there aren't 39 books to reach the end of this series!) They've realized that most---if not all---of the world's greatest philosophers, thinkers, leaders and artists are somehow related to the Cahill clan and have left hidden clues to the secret all the current Cahill's are chasing now. This book finds the children in Italy looking for a clue Mozart has left his progeny. I don't love the way Amy and Dan treat each other all the time, but I realize the author added the burns for comedic relief and perhaps for tweens to identify with.
