I have waited for Maverick's book since the end of "Break the Rules", and let me tell you, this did not disappoint! Who doesn't love a bad boy introvert with a dirty mouth?! The way that he cared for Sadie and made sure she was safe put the biggest smile on my face. Plus he calls her Specs. I mean, come on.
I liked Sadie. But I didn't like how she did everything for everyone and put everyone else's needs above her own. Though that was her only downfall. She was sweet and funny. I laughed out loud multiple times while reading.
"You're gorgeous. And tonight, you're mine."
I am really enjoying this series and cannot wait to see what comes next. Thank you Julia Jarrett for this ARC.
