The Nanny is Off Limits by Q.B. Tyler
4.0

I'm not going to lie, the whole time I listened to this book, I felt so bad for the kids.  They were loved and treated well but their mother passed away.  What a hard thing to go through for any age.

Rowan is an attorney and works a lot.  He has 3 kids.  His oldest daughter is able to drive and help out.  His brother also helps out but the younger two kids go without seeing their father for a day pretty routinely.  When he has a day from you know where with 2 out of 3 of his kids, he concedes he needs more help and adult presence in the home.

Elianna is shopping when she sees a little girl trying to crawl up the shelves to get something.  Since there doesn't appear to be an adult around, Elianna intervenes.  After helping the little girl get what she was going after, she's paged overhead by her uncle.  Elianna helps reunite the two and the uncle suggests she nanny for his brother.

Forbidden love is always a fun read but when it's forbidden so his kids don't get hurt should the two main characters break up, that gets me every single time.  Especially when both try to avoid feelings for each other, keeping the kids first.

I was not a fan of the female narrator for this one.  She was fine when using her regular voice but when she was impersonating the 10 year old son, she made him sound more like a 90 year old 10 pack a day smoker.
