The Sweetness at the Bottom of the Pie, a cozy mystery with a little humor follows the story of Flavia De Luce, an eleven years old with a penchant for poison, loved chemistry and the youngest of the De Luce sisters. After witnessing a dying man on their yard, the clever and nosy Flavia conduct her own investigation (I wonder how an eleven year old do all this even if she was that smart. I can't even get out of my house without my parent's permission when I was her age. Lol). It all started when his father was a student at Greysminster School and started a collection of stamps. Flavia as nosy as she is was able to find things out behind the missing stamps and the murder a long time ago. She also stambled with the culprit and was kidnapped, luckily Dogger their loyal servant was able to save her and the murderer was caught.

It was a fun and cozy read. I already liked Flavia and her little experiments. If you dont want your lipstick to have an ivy poison then you better be good with her. I liked how curious she is with the world even if she knew most of it you can still see that she was just a child. The audio was great! Adds fun. 4.5/5
