Long overdue for me to get to this, especially after enjoying Rosemary's Baby a few years ago. I really like the way Levin tells a story. He writes simply without being simplistic. It feels almost like a screenplay sometimes, and it makes sense why his work has been adapted multiple times. This story feels so perfectly timely to its context but also (unfortunately) timeless in its relevance. It's also just long enough to build up the tension and snap it right at the end. Good shit! I can see this becoming a periodic reread.
