The Love of My Afterlife by Kirsty Greenwood

4.0

What a sweet, quirky, and fun ride!

Love of My Afterlife was really enjoyable from start to finish with a perfect little twist at the end. I found the storyline really different and fresh. The characters were enjoyable and easy to love, and faced development. The MFC has her flaws, some she’s aware of and some not, and it makes her all the more relatable and realistic.

The romance was fun, believable, and a great mix of “love at first sight” and “enemies to lovers” tropes. A little hint of spice, but more on the sweet side.

Something interesting is, I don’t know if this was done at all on purpose, but I read the MFC as a neurodiverse character. Something about her thought process, actions, and the way she was written just put that in my mind and I loved it.

I can picture this being made into a really sweet rom-com movie!

Thank you #netgalley and Penguin Random House for the ARC copy!
