It was a cute contemporary romance. The use of pop culture was cute, and made the story more realistic. However, the writing it was threw me off. It felt clunky throughout the book, where the author added in random vocabulary that seemed odd for the book overall. Some scenes were skipped over too quickly, and others were made more important even though they didn't quite fit with the themes.
