I loved this book! Elizabeth lives with her aunt and uncle. They have very little to do with her. When things didn't seem to get any worse, they send her to Winterhouse for three weeks while they go an vacation. Elizabeth is a very curious girl and finds herself in many situations that she begins to question. She finds a friend and begins to enjoy the house and doesn't want to leave.
