Attack on Titan, Volume 1 by Hajime Isayama

Did not finish book. Stopped at 85%.
Tapped out midway through volume 28. Decided I prefer this story in animated form - Isayama isn't a great action artist and so much of the story revolves around epic battles that he renders totally incoherent, there wasn't enough novel material in the manga to justify reading it and the characters are pretty bland. The plotting is fun but the plot is all in the anime, and the moral complexities of the story don't really get ratcheted up until the final portion anyways.
