All You Need Is A Little Faith
I actually enjoyed this story. It was a slow burn and I liked the fact that the main couple didn't get together until 2 years after the main character's wife's death.
Gail Vega hires an inexperienced Nanny by the name of Faith. Logan Vega was against this decision because he thought of Faith as a failed artist who lacks the experience necessary to help raise and take care of their 5 year old son. Little did they know Gail was working on a Masterplan.
After a few months of working with the Vega Tribe; Faith began to notice changes in Gail. When she would ask Gail about it; Gail just brushed it off as nothing. Gail was dying and she had a plan in motion to ensure that her son Casey and husband Logan were well taken care of.
Unbeknownst to Logan and Faith; Gail had already found the woman she knew would love her son and husband the way she did. This information was not known to anyone but Casey. During Gail's last days of life she explains to Casey that he and his father will be alright and well taken care of by Ms. Jacobs (Faith); after all that's why she hired her.
It took some time. Alot if grieving, counseling, self reflection but eventually Logan and Faith were able to come together. It took Faith a little longer to come around because she felt like she was betraying Gail whom she loved.
Once Casey confided in his father what his mother told him, Logan understood that Gail was giving him her blessings to be with Faith. The biggest obstacle Logan faced was getting Faith onboard and admitting her feelings for him.
Casey was a sweetheart. He had a task to complete but couldn't do it until Logan and Faith got their act together. When the couple finally, Finally reached their HEA; Casey presented them with a letter he received from his mother Gail right before she passed away (years ago). The letter was to be given to his father (Logan) after me proposed to Faith and in the letter both Logan and Faith see that Gail already gave her blessings because Faith was who she picked out to take care of her Vega men.
