I was oddly disappointed with this one. (Mind, a disappointing Marian Keyes book is one that only gets four stars from me.) The idea is fantastic, execution as always flawless. It's the humour that doesn't really work for me. The "PC jokes" are not funny – at least not to me – they make me uncomfortable the same way my uncle's jokes did once he had a few drinks. Once I gloss over those, though, it's a great book. What I particularly enjoyed was the ending – had someone else written this book, I'd expect it to be predictable, but with Marian I just knew it wouldn't be. I was right.

There are perhaps two authors in the world that are insta-buys for me. Marian Keyes is one of them. The only book of hers I don't own is the one about baking ;) (honestly, you don't want to try my attempts at baking...) I only wish she could write as fast as I read!
