A Line to Kill by Anthony Horowitz
4.0

It's been a long time since I read this series, but I really liked this one.
The way this ends there's a good hook for the next book.
The series is about the author Anthony Horowitz working alongside a private detective. In this one they go to a small island where there's a small writer's convention, a chance to practice before the first book of a new series about the detective(literally the first book of This Series) is released.
While on the island there's a murder, and they work on solving it.
Per the previous books there's a quite a few red herrings and they're all explained by the end, but also it gives you every clue that you should have noticed that was leading to that red herring. It's something I like about Horowitz, he doesn't leave you hanging, he explains why someone changed shoes, or why it was important that someone was a zoologist, and how that clue lead to the wrong conclusion.
