What a fucking wild ride. But honestly, I expect nothing less from Karin Slaughter. This book was insane from the start and didn’t let up from there. I loved how all the different parts came together and how I never stopped being shocked by the reveals throughout. I think the scene where Andrew shoots up Callie in the old house is perhaps the most uncomfortable I’ve ever felt reading a book, and I had to keep looking away from the words on the page. I was hoping for a happier ending for Callie, but really I think Karin brought it together perfectly in a more realistic way. Would definitely recommend, but check content warnings.
