Oh my gawd you guys! Why did I wait so long to read this amazing book? It takes so much talent to bring humour into what could be such a serious book. It was both gut wrenching and hilarious. I honestly laughed so hard I was crying at one point. Pretty low angst too, all things considered.
Riley is newly blind and Harper has just out of an abusive relationship. They meet when Harper moves in with Riley to help him learn to navigate his new way of life. Slowly, Harper comes out of his shell thanks to Riley’s sunny disposition and humour.
I love how the progression of their relationship is shown. Harper was waiting for Riley’s “gay freak out” and Riley kept surprising him at every turn. Trust me, run and read this book. Highly, highly recommend!!!
