Heavier Than Heaven: The Biography of Kurt Cobain
by Charles R. Cross
A well-written, carefully thought out description of a man that almost no one, if anyone, understood. Of course, it should be read warily - even ignoring the fact that Courtney Love had a massive input, Cross, for example, describes Kurt's final moments in detail then goes on to add in the fact that even the date was unbreachably vague.
Overall, however, I regarded this as a hard hitting book that handled the sad end of Kurt's life with enough force for impact but not enough for damage.
