The Rabbit Hutch by Tess Gunty

4.0

A tour de force in the middle of nowhere Indiana, The Rabbit Hutch threads you into the narrative of the small town, Vacca Vale, and its less than sumptuous inhabitants. Tess Guntry’s debut novel is shrouded in mysticism that feels out of place in a midwestern, rotting hellhole of a town, but isn’t that the perfect place for divine intervention?
A book that I believe merits its NBA shortlisting
