Little Black Book: A Toolkit for Working Women by Otegha Uwagba

4.0

This book is jam packed. It is super concise and mostly organized lists but I actually really appreciated that. There are way too many self-help books that take 300-400 pages to say one thing in this book. It is definitely a reference book so better to own it than to borrow it and better to pick through particular chapters when you need help/advice/ideas in that particular area than to read it straight but it was good. There wasn't too much surprising or something I hadn't heard before which is probably it's biggest downfall but the concise lists also make me feel confident that I would be able to efficiently use it in the future. The ideal audience is probably young adult freelance design women but even if you only fit a few of those categories, the topics can be relevant and useful.
