I love Miss Bev. She just writes the kind of stories I enjoy. Lush, romantic and filled with super capable heroines, who would be happy without finding anyone but are even better when they have someone to lean on. Rain is all of that and her hero, Garrett, is a perfect cinnamon roll. Stoic and thoughtful — inwardly a little jealous of things he thinks he might never know about Rain, but respectful enough to never demand her secrets. I loved them so much!
