World Building: somewhat less confusing than the first book, maybe I'm getting used to this world
Plot: kidnappingx2, race against time, vengeance, unrequited love

Read another: I don't know. Maybe.
These stories don't seem to grab me. And this one, at least, suffered from a lack of contraception. No discussion at all, which, especially in something reasonably contemporary, takes me right out of the story. Even saying "Supernaturals control reproduction somehow" would be an improvement.
