I had no idea what I was getting into. Slightly slow start, and while the interlude flashbacks were interesting but I was definitely always wanting to get back to the present. Otherwise I found this to be a masterful work in building a mysterious breathtaking world, many subcultures with their various quirks and habits, and loveable characters who easily formed a distinct voice in my head for each. The various emotions I went through had me so invested to get to the end. Can’t wait to continue the series.
