This was a great story. Santi is dealing with leaving the military and his diagnosis that caused it and doesn't want to burden anyone. Micah has finally made his dream come true and taken over his grandfather's vet practice, he is painfully shy and doesn't see how anyone could want him. These two make sure to continually try to break through the other's insecurities and make them know how special they are. The animals were adorable and I love how Pickles continued to take in more animals despite Santi's frustration.
