The Cat who Walks Through Walls: A Comedy of Manners by Robert A. Heinlein
Did not finish book. Stopped at 3%.
First time reading Heinlein, only 12 page in and I got the feeling he was a very creepy, very gross man. In those short page, he managed to fit this female character who is desperate to marry this random dude who makes gratuitous jokes about raping her while having breakfast. I already had my fair share self insert characters for whom every female in the plot is thirsty for when reading Murakami.
I checked online and this seem to be an ongoing theme here and in Stranger in a Strange Land, which is the other book I have by Heinlein. Honestly, I refuse to endure almost 400 page per book of this just because he is a big name in SF.
I'm sure we all like that one problematic author, that happens, but Heinlein won't be mine.
