I’ve never really watched rosanne outside of the reruns my mom sometimes watched as an occasional background noise of my childhood. So I’m not sure what possessed me to pick this up but I was quickly thankful I did. Jenny Pentland has a knack for storytelling, and presenting said stories with an impressively comedic flair considering most of which were otherwise incredibly sad. 

Unfortunately the last few chapters were a little less exciting for me but honestly, good for her because I the most entertaining parts of the book must have been fxcking hell to live through, so I’m glad things calmed down for at least to some degree.
