What a debut! Adam Green has now joined the ranks of my literary heroes and I hope this book represents the first in a stunning new crime series!
The book is fast paced and Rob Rinder’s characteristic charm, intellect and wit are clearly demonstrable throughout. There is a great mystery at the heart of the book and Adam Green’s backstory and quest for justice is heart warming and endears you to him. I found myself rooting for Adam throughout, especially when his mentor showed such disregard and disdain for his hard work.
All in all, I found this to be an enjoyable read and I would recommend it to all fans of court room dramas and a good thriller. I gave this book 4 stars as it didn’t quite reach the dizzying heights of my all time favourite court room thriller writer (Steve Cavanagh’s Eddie Flynn series is out of this world), but it was a very enjoyable read none the less.
