“Writing is the closest thing we have to real magic. Writing is creating something out of nothing, is opening doors to others lands. Writing gives you power to shape your own world when the real one hurts too much.”

I'm not sure how to feel about this book... On one hand, I liked the writing, but this book also felt really slow to me and I'm not sure why. I didn't really care much about it. Maybe reading this physically would have been better. Also, this book was adult so it wasn't really what I was expecting. It was ... okay, I guess.
