A stellar and heartbreaking end to the Poppy War series. The ending was tragic and felt inevitable, both for Nikan at the end of years of bloodshed and for Rin's character arc and the trauma she's been through. I cried at least once every 100 pages, and I can't wait for everyone else who loves this series to join me in the suffering.
