I DNFed this book in 2020 after being “forced” by a friend to read it. Back then I did not understand the language nor did I enjoy the book or the writing at all…
Yet I have thoroughly enjoyed this book the second time around. I devoured the language. Love the characters and wish that more books and writing could be like this. I love the way the language twirled around the characters joyously emulating the characters in the lost perfect way. I live the trope of love turning you into a better person. The hurt, the strife, and the struggle through love that you feel in this story is beyond words can explain. I wish to go back to the language of these times where it meant something to say the word Love. They had used various amounts of words that greatly explained how they felt and they were just regularly taught to have conversations in a honorable manner. I enjoyed this book and it is one that I will have to read over and over again.
If you have had trouble with this book I’d say pick up some simpler read with the same sort of time frame and read that first it makes reading this language a lot easier. Also if you have DNFed this book, Please please please come back and try it out later. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.⭐️
