I have read the entire Bridgertons series (probably multiple times) and, on the whole I’ve enjoyed it. But somehow, the only one that’s really stuck with me and been one I return to repeatedly just to read a couple of passages is this one. I have no idea why, it’s not the best romance novel I’ve ever read, but I always love returning to it.
Probably partly due to relating quite heavily to our protagonist, Hyacinth, and loving the cast of characters, especially Lady Danbury! I love the bant and the romance and the mystery and it all makes for a really fun read!
As I said before, it’s not an amazing novel but it’s a great one to keep returning to time after time. 4-4.5 stars.
