Hidden Pictures by Jason Rekulak had all of the mystery, suspense and chilling, eerie vibes I wanted from a psychological thriller/horror novel. This was such a fast-paced, exciting read that I devoured it in only a few hours.
I knew there would be unexpected twists, but the reveals in this story caught me completely by surprise. They were open-mouthed, wide-eyed, gotta message a friend kinda twists.
The artwork that helps you piece together the intricate details of the mystery, (rewarding the particularly observant), is fantastic.
Even having just finished, I wish I could read it again knowing nothing. I look forward to reading more spine-tingling, dark thrillers from Jason Rekulak.
