The Final Six by Alexandra Monir

4.0

I was actually pleasantly surprised by this book. I always approach library ebooks with caution, but this one does a nice job of really transporting you into the author's imagination. I really felt like I was part of the team, standing by the main characters as the story progressed. We downloaded this one for the drive up the California coast, and our plan was to listen to an hour or so of it and then listen to music, but we ended up listening to it the whole way there and back. Finished it in two days.
The only reason I didn't give five stars was because of the ending, and honestly that's just my opinion. I would also categorize it as junk food sci-fi (nothing wrong with that at all. It's what I write), but definitely a fun book worth the read.
