This book is interesting to read after Adrian Edmondson's autobiography, as it shows the 'character' Rik Mayall he mentions dealing with. The real Rik Mayall only appears for 1 brief chapter. Shame there isn't more 'real' Rik in this, as that is the bit I enjoyed the most, and the 'character' Rik's writing style was a bit too much of a slog for me if I'm honest.
