travelled w me from miami to trinidad <3 a beautiful read, madlyyy reminiscent of caribbean upbringing n reality so i really loved the authenticity of this book. the queerness is a plus. CARIBBEAN + GAY? I'M ON THAT. i fucking loved thandi's n charles' relationship. so sad but so beautiful. everyone deserved better (except dolores' bitchass). i really hoped for a happy ending but i guess it added to the realness of it all :')
