The Road Back to You: An Enneagram Journey to Self-Discovery by Ian Morgan Cron, Suzanne Stabile
5.0
Such a comprehensive overview of what the Enneagram is as well as a thorough examination of each number on the Enneagram. I had a very basic understanding of the Enneagram before starting this book, but now feel like I know quite a bit more.
For those who aren't aware, the Enneagram is basically a personality profile, but is so different from the others out there. I find that it is much more comprehensive and goes a bit deeper than others I've heard or learned about. You can't just take a test to find out your number.
I love that this book comes from a Christian worldview and adds how each number relates to faith. It's sole focus isn't faith, however. I also learned about each number as a child, what each looks like in an unhealthy place as well as a healthy one.
I would definitely recommend this book for those interested in personality! I am glad I listened to it on audio, but had to speed up the narration because Ian Morgan Cron (the author and narrator) speaks quite slowly. I do plan on buying the book to refer back to as well as share with others.
