Brandon Mills versus the V-Card by Lisa Henry, J.A. Rock

2.5

This fell a little short as a sequel. I was intrigued by Brandon's story in Mark Cooper versus America and actually thought he and Jackson might get together, but Jackson was barely in this novel (I still want to know more about him, I feel like there's something going on there!) and instead we got Alex, who likes dinosaurs and says "Ohmigod" a lot... but tbh I don't think we ever really learned much else about him. Most of the story was about Brandon, his past, and his family, and Alex was hardly developed at all.

That said, there was an amusing first-time scene that I super appreciated because neither of the characters had a clue what they were doing, and it's nice to see more realistic sex instead of epic fireworks etc.
