megann__ 's review for:
Lord of the Flies
by William Golding
the way that i absorbed this book without knowing it until i reached the last page.
i think sometimes the large paragraphs detailing every little thing was a little redundant as i skipped some of them just because it was bringing nothing valuable to the story for me.
i honestly thought it would've consistently been more brutal and violent, but i think it helps the effectiveness of the descriptions of the events by slowly developing the fear and panic and disgust that you feel.
i also love the way that speculation is a huge part in your own perception of the stories events and how everything develops.
