I found this to be a quirky love story between two serial killers. I felt that it focused a lot on the romance moreso than the actual plot, which wasn't bad, but I was expecting more. Coming from someone who loves watching Criminal Minds, I wanted more of the darkest, depraved bits usually seen in dark romance. Overall, I felt the tone of this was unexpectedly light and almost humorous. I wanted more spice, but the plot and romance definitely went in a completely different direction than anticipated. I also correctly guessed the plot twist at the end, so I found the predicability a little...meh.
This is definitely a cute little palette cleanser that I would probably read again for a bit of "light reading" but I definitely won't be partaking in the massive hype I have seen for this book online.
